Tilkynnt var í dag að Eurovision keppnin yrði ekki haldin í ár vegna kórónuveirufaraldursins en Eurovisionaðdáendur hafa leitað á samfélagsmiðla til að kalla eftir því að Daði og Gagnamagnið vinni keppnina sjálfkrafa.
Lagið hefur vakið mikla athygli frá því það kom út og vakti fjöldi frægra athygli á laginu á samfélagsmiðlum, þar á meðal Russel Corwe og Rylan Clark.
Aðdáendur Daða hafa meira að segja efnt til undirskriftasöfnunar, þar sem Evrópusamtök útvarpsstöðva eru hvött til að krýna Daða og Gagnamagnið sigurvegara keppninnar 2020.
Iceland won, right? (I'm more than a little obsessed with Dadi. I find him oddly and extremely ridey) https://t.co/Gy0vc6DrY3

Congratulations to Iceland for winning Eurovision 2020 so hard that the entire event had to be cancelled to ensure the other countries weren't too humiliated.

* Who would have won?

It s a huge shame for the artists who have given it their all. IMO Daði Freyr would probably have won with Think About Things, which would have been a first for Iceland - the only Nordic nation without a victory. pic.twitter.com/uH4NNB0R8f

If Eurovision actually has been cancelled and dadi / Iceland have been robbed of their iconic win then that s the absolute nail in the coffin for 2020 I m done
