Children in Variety 16. október 2006 10:42 Börn og Foreldrar eftir Ragnar Bragason og Vesturport The film Children by Ragnar Bragason received a good review in the film journal Variety. The critic Gunnar Rehlin was pleased with the black and white colour and said that Reykjavík had never been portrayed in this view. The newspaper Fréttablaðið reached the director Ragnar Bragason at the airport in Frankfurt waiting for his flight to South-Korea where Children will be screened at the film festival in Pusan. Ragnar said he had known about the review for some time but was glad that it had been published. Children is still in theatres in Iceland so those who have not seen it already should go to the cinema. Ragnar says that the films Children and Parents, coming out early next year, will not go to rentals but he will put a DVD package with deleted scenes, interviews and so on. Ragnar says he has 50 minutes of material just as good as the film. „These scenes are some of the greatest scenes but we had to cut them because in the end they didn‘t go with storyline,“ said Ragnar Bragason.
