According to Fréttablaðið sources, airline company SAS has shown interest in the purchase of Icelandair from FL Group. FL Group is currently undergoing talks with KB Bank on a possible purchase but opinions on price differ with KB Bank valuing the airline at around 25 billion ISK with FL Group asking for around 40 billion.

Neither FL Group or KB Bank would comment to the press this weekend.
